I visited the new Oceans Hall in the Smithsonian museum.  I liked it, but felt they tried to cram a little too much information in the space they had.  That said, the digital projection of ocean circulation on a 3D model of the earth blew my mind.

How crazy is this spider?  His/her web was like three feet in diameter.
Um… I swear I’m learning about the ocean.  Don’t worry.

Oh, you guys are in for it.  I went hiking today and took like a billion pictures.  Which means I don’t have to do anything for the next 5 days — I’m going to just post them one by one and it will look like I went hiking EVERY day.
